Hello Lovely, I am Shan!

I am the creator and maker behind Shanbles Designs. I have loved art for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent a lot of my time playing around with different mediums, ranging from pastels to watercolour to acrylic. I went to college wanting to do art but I was told I wasn't good enough and this really damaged my confidence to the point I stopped painting for about 3 years. I picked it up again whilst at university but I was very casual with it and it wasn't until lockdown 2020 that I really started to take it seriously and work on finding my niche. I focused on digital art using the app Procreate but my heart always kept leaning back towards watercolour and I found that whilst I could paint in a watercolour style within Procreate, it just didn't hit the spot and I went back to traditional watercolour and found this to be my niche, primarily specialising in landscapes. Painting brings me so much joy and it is my happy place in a world full of negativity and if I can bring someone else joy through my art then it is a success in my eyes.
